About Cogency

Cogency specialises in customised software development and consulting in machine vision, image processing, and related fields. Typical projects involve working together with our clients to design algorithms for image analysis and 3D vision applications. Matlab is often used for prototyping, and subsequent coding is carried out in C++ or occasionally Java. ASG 3D is a stand-alone version of ASG and features a graphical interface for easy visualisation and manipulation of multiple particles. Sphere-clump can be used in EDEM.

Free ASG particle data set

A 220 real particle, sphere-clump data set. Each particle is modelled using 3-60 spheres, allowing flexible simulation with DEM software. Click HERE for more information.

ASG Matlab Toolbox released

ASG is designed to generate sphere-clumps from triangular meshes
so that realistic particle shapes can be simulated in using Discrete
